YWater is a youth advocacy platform that aims to
catalyze young people in taking action towards
achieving the SDGs in India with a special
focus on water

“Ours can be the first generation to end poverty and
the last generation to address climate change before
it is too late.”

– Ban-Ki Moon,
Former UN Secretary-General

We work to harness the social capital of the youth via multiple digital interactive platforms for impact. Every time you write, blog, tweet and share you help us create a larger community. Join the conversation and take the #YWaterPledge with us today! Click here to find out ways you can contribute

We believe in starting conversations to create action. By sourcing original content, be it in the form of blogs, videos or water stories, we aim to create a knowledge repository that the youth can rely on as they advocate for sustainable water and sanitation solutions. The first step towards fostering youth driven advocacy is building awareness. We seek to transform non-formal education by working directly with students through a variety of innovative ways. We use in-school sensitization campaigns, interactive modules, customized workshops, and other tools, to create young WASH champions. Click here to write to us and find out more.

We believe that sustainable change occurs through collaboration. We are partnering with non-profits, private sector organisations and governments to work on projects across the country to drive a collective movement towards achieving SDG 6 in India, through a larger ecosystem for Water and Sanitation.
